"I encourage you all who are in obedience classes to take a moment and think about the great instructors you have and the opportunities presented.  As you progress somewhere along the way around Advanced you will see a bond developing between you and your dog.  This is the beginning of something wonderful and a true moment of realization that this training has developed trust between you and your dog, deep trust which you will want to work with.  We are blessed to have Demaree.  She teaches us to work our dogs beyond the necessary steps, to over achieve, to do more than just the exercise.  Obedience is fun, working with your dog is fun.  Once that bond develops you have a feeling of no limits, no boundaries and you will have the desire to compete.  I encourage everyone to avail of the opportunity presented."
