Nose Work Beginner

Nose Work – Beginner Prerequisite: Nose work Introduction This six-week nose work class is an introduction into the exciting sport of scent work training. There will be an additional $10.00 charge per dog paid in cash/check at the first class to cover for equipment needed for the class. Scent work, or nose work, gives your dog the opportunity to refine a natural instinct...SNIFFING things. Whether for sport or for fun, most dogs LOVE this “job”! Nosework builds your dog’s confidence and strengthens your working relationship. Ideal for dog’s who needs a “job” at home. Your dog will be introduced to competition scents and challenging scent obstacles and courses. Some treat work will also be used so come prepared for anything! Dogs will not required to be crated when not actively participating in an exercise unless they cannot be controlled otherwise. If your dog cannot do a DOWN quietly in between exercises, you may use our crates or bring your own. Dogs must be quiet and reasonably polite while crated or at their owner's side.
