"Teams" Tryouts

TEAM OBEDIENCE is a competition sport where FOUR dog-handler teams (and one alternate) compete at the same time in synchrony with each other.  It is a highly skilled and drilled performance that is thrilling to watch and hard work to prepare for... are you up for the challenge?

OCC will again have a Team Competition in the October Obedience Trial.  Tryouts are on {{{{{I FORGOT THE DATE, can you add it?}}}} at 6pm.  Key Club fees are waived for this event.  Team members will be selected based on their skill of handling their dogs in a level of Obedience comparable to Novice Competitions (Heel on-Leash, Heel off-leash, Figure 8, Stand-for-Exam and Drop-on-Recall).  Prior competition experience is not required to be a potential team-member.  Team members selected must be able to commit to taking a class next session to work on their team synchronization skills.  Try-outs will be "survivor-style" with confidential voting by all participants at the end of the Try Out.  (Selected members are not notified at the Try-Out event as the ballots take time to piece together the potential teams).

Test your obedience to the max and consider joining this uniquely rewarding and highly skilled showcase event!

Also, the Try Out event is pot-luck style.  Please bring something to share with others and spend some time getting to know everyone a little better.
